A graduate in Psychology and a Chartered Marketer, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, I was owner/manager of my own successful company for twenty years. Following the sale of business interests, I worked for public sector business support agencies, and extensively in the private sector as a management consultant for companies from a variety of sectors.

Additionally, as Head of the Entrepreneurship Team, I held responsibility for the performance of senior consultants. In 2008, I took the opportunity to channel my energy, passion and experience in another direction and co-founded Accordant Enterprise Partners CIC – a Social Enterprise with a remit and specialism to support Third Sector Organisations to reach sustainability. I have worked with a large number of Third Sector organisations, Universities, Support Agencies, PCT’s and Local Authorities.

I have designed and delivered successful programmes of support for private and third sector organisations - most recently to help enterprises re-orientate their business processes and approach to take advantage of the opportunities of personalisation. At present, I am working on many different projects; from developing engagement strategies for Local Authorities to working with Young Offenders. My work centres around my practical approach to problem solving and key skills and areas of knowledge include: Business Development and Growth, Strategic Planning, Sales & Marketing, Research, Sustainability in Social Enterprises, Corporate and Personal Coaching, Change Management, Succession Planning, Project Management, and Business Training.

I have an excellent knowledge of the workings of both the public and private sectors and have worked extensively in the Creative, Manufacturing and Service Sectors. A highly experienced business mentor and coach, I have lectured in many universities and have had research papers published in the UK and Bulgaria.
