	Sue Brown
	20 years experience as a HR Manager working mainly at national level. Specialised in Management Development and worked in senior management posts in both the private and public sectors. Also reported to a PLC Board for five years. Experience in broad HR/Organisational Development issues includes implementing Investors in People in five businesses, and implementing the Business Excellence Model across a national group of companies.
Chose to become self-employed in 2006 and currently carry out fixed term assignments which have included presenting motivational training and management development events, as well as independent customer surveys and bid writing. Recently co-ordinated an implementation team who were completely changing their Finance, Procurement, Contract, Payroll, Reporting and HR systems to an integrated IT solution. The method designed for achieving blueprint sign off from the Senior Management Team was adopted as best practice for future companies. Sue’s son Joe who has Aspergers syndrome has set up the country’s first Free range egg delivery round in his home town of Penwortham and has won the Barclays Trading Places award 2009.
